Rehabilitation & Education

At KSB, we believe that vision loss is not the end of opportunity, it is the beginning of a journey towards independence, inclusion, and empowerment. Our Education and Rehabilitation Programme equips children, youth, and adults with visual impairments with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to live independently, pursue education, secure meaningful employment, and participate fully in society.

Through personalized training and support, we help individuals adapt to vision loss by developing essential daily living, communication, mobility, and technology skills. Our programmes are delivered by experienced rehabilitation professionals in a supportive learning environment that promotes dignity, self-reliance, and equal opportunities.
Our key education and rehabilitation services include:

CORE REHABILITATION & EDUCATION SERVICES

We provide comprehensive Braille training for children and adults who are blind or have severe visual impairment. Learners are equipped with reading and writing skills using Unified English Braille (UEB), enabling them to access education, information, and communication independently.

Adapted Computer Training

Technology plays a vital role in promoting inclusion. Our adapted computer training programme teaches learners to use computers with screen readers, magnification software, and other assistive technologies, helping them access education, employment, and digital services with confidence.
